Les Trois Petits Cochons, or Three Little Pigs is a small, New York based charcuterie that took a lesson from its name sake and instead of building its house of hay or stick, instead opted to build its house and reputation on the classic styles and flavors of French cuisine. Their attention to detail and tradition has paid off as they have been in business since 1975, only expanding and becoming more popular over that time. This particular pate is created from one of the most popular French flavor combinations, Duck and orange. Categorized as a course pate for its texture, this loaf shaped delicacy contains ground duck as well as ground pork, roughly chopped pistachios and a dash of Grand Marnier. There are countless ways to enjoy your pate, the most indulgent option being of course pressing a slice into a piece of rustic bread and keeping your glass filled with a bold red wine.
